Though the Swedes have been dressing themselves impeccably for decades, it's arguable that the rest of the world began its love affair with Swedish fashion when Johnny Johansen founded Acne in 1996.

Since, the innovative clothing brand and media concept (alongside jeans and jumpers, Acne also produce a biannual fashion and culture publication) has helped catapult the super sleek Swedish aesthetic across the globe.
