October is Esquire’s Television Special, so who better to star on our cover than the man leading the most compelling show on the box this Autumn, Damian Lewis.
Going into its third series, the success of Homeland has been nothing short of stratospheric, boasting fans in Barack Obama, Jay-Z and everyone in your office (happily for couples, it appeals to men and women alike).
At the centre of it is Lewis’s performance as the deeply conflicted veteran General Brody, who in series 3 finds himself on the run from, well, everyone (see the awesome trailer released earlier this month).
Speaking to Esquire, Lewis talks candidly about his Eton education, playing Bond and his very small mouth…
For now, here’s a behind the scenes from Lewis’s London cover shoot.
