Three of the Best

Invisible Socks

How to go sockless this summer.

Going sockless when it's hot is a nice idea in theory. Not so nice in practice. So, instead of getting clammy feet, here's three sock choices that'll stay hidden from plain view.

1 Falke (top)

The go-to brand when it comes to no-show socks, Falke are experts in what it takes to make a great pair of socks that no one but you can see. Wearable under boat shoes, these socks go so low they'd win a limbo contest. (My-wardrobe, £8)

2 Ralph Lauren

Good ol' Ralph. When he's not making exacting suiting, classic polos or making us smell good, he's creating socks that are ideal to be worn underneath a pair of trainers. These don't go as low as Falke socks so they'll be perfect for the man who's dipping his toe into the invisible sock waters.(ASOS, £15)

3 Stance

California based brand Stance are a relatively new addition to the world of invisible socks. They've made these socks especially for skateboarding, using coolmax technology to ensure your feet don't get clammy in the sun. So while you won't be pulling any kickflips in these (for your own good really, skateboard injuries are only endearing if you're 19) they'll be sure to withstand any strenuous walks to the bar. (Amazon, £6,99)
