In the run up to the latest issue of Esquire, we pondered the logistics of compiling the ultimate wardrobe. An edit of clothes that meant you'd never want for anything, and could be sartorially prepared for any eventuality. A week or so later and after creating a list of almost 160 things, we realised we may have bitten off more than we could chew. But we ploughed on, found a studio big enough and got started.
The shoot took us a full day to set up, so we thought we'd stick a camera in the corner of the studio and take a time-lapse video of proceedings. This 30 second clip represents seven hours of hard graft, all in the name of menswear.
To see the shoot in full, pick up the September issue of Esquire, the fashion issue, out now.
