This week, racing champion Jenson Button found a new teammate: Esquire's very own Style Director Teo van den Broeke.

At an event with Michael Kors and McLaren-Honda (who have joined forces as part of a lifestyle partnership), Button answered questions from Teo in front of a live audience on everything from how he got into the sport, his favourite moments on the track and his own personal sense of style.

On the subject of his workplace wardrobe, Button said: "You're asking a guy who wears a romper suit as a job. It's basically a baby's romper suit. And you look so silly wearing it, but we do it because we have to. But style is something that really interests me."

Afterwards attendees to the event - hosted at Selfridges in London - were able to enjoy cocktails from the Blue Label Johnnie Walker bar, where mixologists served a selection of bespoke Blue Label cocktails to guests, including a specially designed Michael Kors fashioned (Blue Label, IPA reduction stirred with grapefruit oil, served over hand cracked ice with a hickory and pine smoke finish - since you're asking).

All-in-all, a most satisfactory pitstop.
