We've Finally Reached Peak Knit With Adidas' New Stan Smiths

The shoe-making process was always designed with athletes in mind. The single, lightweight upper allowed for comfort and movement in all areas of the shoe. The original idea, in fact, was to bridge the gap between weighty trainers and socks.

But the technology soon infiltrated the world of casual trainerdom – and now, as a tribute to its very-recent sports legacy, Adidas are set to release a Primeknit version of their tennis-influenced staple Stan Smiths.
