The return of hobnail boots

We've heard about the countless steps involved in the making of shoes, but never heard of hob nails being hammered into the bottom of shoes. But that's just what Grenson had to do with their latest collaboration.
The Northampton shoemaker has teamed up with Rag & Bone, the English duo who's label is based in New York, for another collaboration shoe. First partnering up a few years back, Rag & Bone has stepped on the designer gas, so to speak, in recent seasons.

This year it's culminated with this boot made using hob nails, sourced by Grenson and nailed in by hand. Our only concern is that, with all those nails in your footwear, you'll find it impossible walking through the quiet coach of the train without attracting disapproving murmurs.
