Founded in 2006, British cobblers Gaziano and Girling don’t cut corners, which is perhaps why its bench-made Rothschild brogues are the ultimate everyday shoes.
"The quality of the ingredients that go into a G&G brogue sets us apart,"” Dean Girling explains. "The insole, outer sole, leather upper and lining are the finest money can buy." With upper leather sourced in Italy and France, and oak-tanned bark soles from Devon, G&G constructs its brogues in its Northamptonshire factory using the Goodyear welt. This creates space between your foot and the sole, which is also cork-filled for a lighter step.
Dean and co-founder Tony Gaziano initially built their reputation as one of Britain’s finest shoemakers by crafting footwear for a variety of bespoke makers, designers and local manufacturers before launching the area’s first new shoe factory in over 100 years. Wear these with a bright (Corgi) sock and a swagger.
