Buttero has teamed up with Denham and 14 Oz to create their latest pair of classy trainers. --
We’ve featured Italian shoemakers Buttero before, and for good reason. Their trainers are what a grown-up should be wearing, they work well with trousers as well as denim and they ensure you won’t have the words ‘lamb’ and ‘mutton’ thrown at you. And they look good, which is a plus.
Their latest work is with denim experts Denham and 14 Oz. The Amsterdam-based Denham label was launched by the appropriately named Mr. Jason Denham, whilst 14 Oz is a specialist store in Berlin whose name is derived from the ideal weight for denim (obviously). Their collaboration (or ‘collusion’, as they like to call it) is a meeting of craftsmanship-obsessed minds.
Made using 14oz selvage denim, these trainers will wear in just like a good pair of jeans. They’ve even put the selvage lap seam on the heel, so everyone’ll know your trainers are special. Limited to 300 pairs worldwide, these will be appearing in all Buttero stockists in the coming months.
