Vacheron Constantin, the oldest Swiss watchmakers, realised the first world time pocket watch in the late Thirties. A concept originally created by Louis Cottier, the world timer mechanism shows all global time zones on the face of a watch at once. Aside from being supremely useful for globetrotters, the busy concentric dials of modern world time watches are also beautiful, from the bold colours of Louis Vuitton's Escale Time Zone to the understated symmetry of Chopard's new LUC Time Traveller. Here are seven of the best to be found anywhere.
From Montblanc to Louis Vuitton, watches that'll show you sunrise in LA and sunset in Dubai
