Diving ambition

Unlikely as we are to utilise even a fraction of the average diving watch's submarine mechanics, its intentionally rugged build and action man connotations ensure it remains the wrist-weight of choice for the everyman. And they don't come much more robust (or appealing) than the new P'6780 by Porsche Design.

Only the second deep-sea timepiece they've launched - the first was the 1983 Ocean Diver - it's water resistant to 1,000m and includes a titanium cuff that protects the winder from knocks. (+44 20 749 529 38)
