Ever feel like a flying ace trapped in a desk worker’s body? Wish you could swap “blue-sky thinking” for blue-sky dog fighting? Or your wristwatch for a piece of aeronautical instrumentation? Better check out Bell & Ross’s Aviation Collection.

The French watchmaker has added three new designs, Heading, Airspeed and Climb to their range of watches modeled on a plane’s flight-instruments. The watches all feature round faces set in chunky square, matt black steel frames bolted together like components from a Spitfire’s cockpit.

As only a limited number of 999 have been made, we’d recommended swooping for one of these sooner rather than later.

Or if you’re feeling really flush, there’s an even more limited box set, featuring six of the most ‘essential instrument’ watches.
