In the opening game of the football season, Dele Alli marked his goal in Tottenham's 2-1 victory over Newcastle with a unique hand trick. After it initially sparked confusion amongst football fans everywhere, the midfielder's celebration - now known as the #DeleChallenge - has gone viral, with over 61,000 Instagram posts and counting.

Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino has even successfully given it a go. But the apparent simple manoeuvre is harder than it looks.

To start, you'll need to make an 'O' shape with your thumb and index finger with the rest of your fingers pointing upwards. Next, bend your three fingers down so the 'O' sits above above them. Finally, flip your hand and place it against your eye and forehead. Your fingers should be extended and rotated outwards and you should be able to peer through the hole made by your index finger and thumb. Got it? Good, because now that most of the internet appears to have mastered it, there's a new trick to try.

A second version of the #DeleChallenge has been sweeping social media and it's even more complicated. According to iNews, it was YouTuber Thiago Barros that started this one hand, two-eye trick.

Obviously, Alli has already nailed it and has shared a demonstration alongside his Spurs teammate Georges-Kevin N'Koudou via Snapchat. Turns out, it's not just his gravity-defying dives that are impressive.
