There's a neat nod to Judi Dench's M

In among a run of people looking pensive – Ralph Fiennes' M, Blofeld, Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas – we see a portrait of Judi Dench, presumably up on the walls of MI6.

Not only is it a little tribute to Dench – and, more potently, a pretty clear indicator that her legacy is going to be more complicated for Bond than we already thought – it's also an Easter Egg connected to another Bond era entirely. Bernard Lee played M in 11 Bond films, and he was commemorated with a portrait in the same way in The World Is Not Enough.

We might have met Rami Malek's Safin somewhere before

There's a strong feeling among Bond fans that Safin is going to be revealed to be Dr No, in the same way as Christoph Waltz's Franz Oberhauser turned out to be Blofeld in Spectre, and this teaser adds a little more fuel to that fire. Look at the ceiling behind Safin: there's light coming from a circular hole with a latticed grid across it, not unlike the room from which the original Dr No dispatched a spider to kill Sean Connery's Bond.

It's going to be a lot more gadget-centric

After a few films where the gadgets have been noticeably more lo-fi, the previous trailers for No Time To Die have already shown off the Aston Martin's DB5 and the machine guns hidden behind its headlights. The new teaser trailer adds a high-tech glider sequence that feels like it could have come from a Mission: Impossible film. It rolls out of a plane all folded up...
