Talk of who's going to don the tuxedo and Walther PPK after Daniel Craig calls it a day next year continues to circulate, with every British actor to have ever worn a tie on TV having his name thrown into the ring at one time or another.

For our money, the conversation isn't about 007, but head honcho M. Specifically, bringing back Judi Dench as perhaps the best character in the series' history.

Unfortunately, Dame Judi doesn't seem quite as excited by the prospect. After first appearing in 1995's Goldeneye and bowing out in Skyfall, the actor has revealed her feelings about the Bond universe in a new conversation with Deadline. And there are a few things she wants you to get right.

Specifically, the number of Bond films she worked on.

"I did eight actually," she said. "Everyone says seven. But I did do a morning on Spectre...So, I think, 'Well, I actually did eight."

The biggest revelation? That she's still to see her final outing as M, even if her role amounted to a cameo.

"I've never seen Spectre, yet, but they brought me back and there was a little bitty television thing, and so I did do that on it."

So there you have it.
