Margot Robbie and Emily Ratajkowski are amongst the front-runners to play the next Bond girl.

According to Ladbrokes, the 27-year-old Aussie star’s odds stood at 12/1 two years ago, but have shot up to 5/1 following her Oscar-nominated success in I, Tonya.

At Coral, Instagram-crushing supermodel and Gone Girl actress Emily Ratajkowski is out in front at 4/1, followed by Emilia Clarke, Emma Watson and Gal Gadot.

“Emily Ratajkowski certainly fits the bill for a James Bond girl and we certainly think she’s a contender to get a role in the new film next year,” said the firm’s Harry Aitkenhead.

‘Bond 25’ is set to be Daniel Craig’s final film in the series and Monica Belucci, who starred in Spectre, hopes to return for the occasion.

According to Entertainment Inquirer, she said: “I would come back if Lucia Sciarra, my character, would be a very powerful Mafia boss and fight with Bond all along.”

She added: “So it would be great. “I have to say that I really loved working with Daniel Craig. He’s a generous man, a great actor.”

Meanwhile the race to become 007 is heating up too, with Tom Hardy currently standing as the favourite to take over Craig’s iconic role.
