Margot Robbie is back in pole position for Terminal - a neo-noir style thriller which draws inspiration from Lewis Caroll’s 'Alice in Wonderland'.

The thriller follows two assassins Max Irons (The Riot Club) and Dexter Fletcher (Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels) who are being puppeteered by a criminal mastermind on a savage rampage for revenge.

Robbie plays the role of Annie, a mysterious woman who might just be closer to the job than the assassins know. As Robbie playfully says in the easter trailer: "To survive it, you need to be as mad as a hatter. Which luckily, I am."

The film is the second project from Robbie's production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. Seeing as the first was I, Tonya - which bagged Allison Janney an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress - we've got high hopes.

The film also sees the directorial debut from Vaughn Stein and on-screen return of Mike Myers. Simon Pegg will also star.

The full synopsis reads as follows: "In the dark heart of a sprawling, anonymous city, Terminal follows the twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life. Murderous consequences unravel in the dead of night as their lives all intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge."

Terminal will hit the cinemas on 11 May.
