Critically acclaimed horror movies have enjoyed an unexpected renaissance over the past two years, and it looks like 2018 will be no different.
Hotly anticipated British thriller Ghost Stories, set for release on 13 April, has already received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Peter Bradshaw of the Guardian called it a “disturbing, atmospheric fable” and the Hollywood Reporter labelled it “a masterclass in a very British kind of gothic drabness.”
Starring Martin Freeman, Paul Whitehouse and Black Mirror star Alex Lawther, Ghost Stories follows psychology professor Phillip Goodman as he investigates a letter he’s received from beyond the grave. In the process, he meets three haunted people with creepy tales to tell.
