Clearly—since it's by far his most popular segment with its own spinoff show—people very much enjoy watching James Corden geek out in the car singing along with famous people to songs on the radio. But what do the artists think about Carpool Karaoke? Do they really enjoy singing worse versions of their own songs? How much do they love being trapped in a car with Corden driving and clearly distracted with singing? Is he really even driving?

It turns out, at the very least, the Foo Fighters did not have fun filming their recent Carpool Karaoke, as guitarist Pat Smear told NME:

"By hour three in dude's car it got less fun. It kinda went on. When we stopped at Guitar Center, that felt like we were done, but it was like 'this is halfway'."

More than three fucking hours?! Who in their right mind would even be able to pretend to have fun after even an hour of stupidly singing in a car?

Even Dave Grohl—who would have fun sitting in a quiet room humming to himself—said it was "a little uncomfortable." As Grohl said:

"Oh he definitely is [a music lover], And he's a very nice guy. But y'know, I don't mind singing my own songs at Glastonbury or The O2 but if I had to sing you a song right now I'd be too embarrassed."

Can you really blame them? Just check out the look on Grohl's face.
