If you haven't heard, the great Keanu Reeves—star of The Matrix trilogy, the John Wick films, and dozens of other films you love, most likely—is on the cover of US Esquire's Winter issue.

To celebrate this great occasion? Aside from, you know, the story, Reeves sat down for an all-timer of an episode of "Explain This," our video series where we ask celebrities to run down the best moments of their careers. In it, the actor talks everything from his longtime collaborator (and friend) Sandra Bullock, to whether or not the marriage scene in Dracula inadvertently led to a literal marriage to his co-star, Winona Ryder. Another highlight? Reeves responded to the ongoing speculation that he'll join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And let us tell you, he seems awfully familiar with the inner workings of the shared superhero franchise.

"Isn't it bigger than a universe?" Reeves immediately asks. "It's almost like a multiverse... It's a Marvel-verse. It would be an honour. There's some really amazing directors, and visionaries, and they're doing something no one's ever really done. It's special in that sense in terms of the scale, the ambition, the production. So it'd be cool to be a part of that.

There you go, Marvel fans—take that as your official green light to start fan-casting Reeves in some TBD Phase 5 project. Check out the full interview, which is streaming above. By the end of it, you'll know exactly how many Johns the actor has played in his career. (Trust us, you won't guess right.)
