Cinephiles, the movie gods are smiling upon us, because Martin Scorsese has joined Letterboxd. Words cannot contain what a momentous occasion this is. Film bros far and wide—even the ones who write 1,000-word reviews instead of just making a little joke and moving on—this is our our day to rejoice. Marty is here.

On the social media platform, Scorsese wrote that he's often asked "to pair my own pictures with older films," so he put together a list of 59 movies that serve as "companion" viewing to his films. Of course, the double feature—a staple of any film lover's viewing experience—is also something that is on the great Scorsese's mind as well. "I grew up seeing double features," he continues. "You always learn something, see something in a new light, because every movie is in conversation with every other movie. The greater the difference between the pictures, the better."

For his latest film, Killers of the Flower Moon, Scorsese listed The Heiress and Red River as an ideal companion, among others. It's not hard to see why. Red River is one of the most iconic John Wayne-starring westerns of all time, and the pained relationship at the heart of The Heiress easily calls to Lily Gladstone's performance in Flower Moon.Other fun pairings include On the Waterfront and Rocco and His Brothers in conversation with Raging Bull, as well as Sweet Smell of Success and The Wolf of Wall Street.

You can view the entire list here. Just know that Christmas came early. It's time to never go outside again.
