SNL caught flack last week for failing to address the allegations against Harvey Weinstein. (A source told The New York Times that the show scrapped prepared Weinstein jokes after they didn't play well with the audience during dress rehearsals.) But the show more than made up for that omission this week, tackling the issue in both its Weekend Update segment and a separate sketch about sexual abuse in Hollywood.

On Weekend Update, Colin Jost said that Weinstein needs prison, not sex rehab:

Weinstein, who has been accused of multiple counts of sexual assault, is reportedly going to Europe for sex rehab. Somehow I don't think that's really going to help anybody. He doesn't need sex rehab. He needs a specialised facility where there are no women, no contact with the outside world, metal bars and it's a prison.

Meanwhile, his co-anchor Michael Che poked fun at the former superstar producer's appearance, saying that he looks like "chewed bubble gum rolled in cat hair," and a "well-dressed skin tag."

Another sketch featured Leslie Jones as Viola Davis, Cecily Strong as Marion Cotillard, and Kate McKinnon as a fictional now-elderly actress from the Golden Age of Hollywood who, as is McKinnon's wont, totally stole the show.

Everything old is new again. Producers are abusing starlets, there's Nazis marching in the street, suddenly nude pantyhose are on trend. I've never felt more at home. When's polio coming back? This'll be fun.
