Wasting no time after scooping four Oscars this year for his fantasy fairytale The Shape of Water, Guillermo del Toro has added another project to his growing list.

Del Toro, the last of the Three Amigos to win the coveted directing Oscar, is already co-directing a darker version of the classic children's fairy tale Pinocchio, creating the third instalment of DreamWork's Tales of Arcadia trilogy, and directing both crime drama Nightmare Alley and a new Michael Mann documentary.

Indiewire reports that his latest project is, "a new horror anthology series in which each episode will tell a new genre tale" and is, "combining Alfred Hitchcock and Black Mirror."

They add that, "Del Toro will write and direct select episodes of the show, while other instalments will be written and directed by talent handpicked by the visionary behind Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water."
