A character that was allegedly meant to be killed off in the first season, Aaron Paul's portrayal of Jesse Pinkman remains one of the greatest aspects of Breaking Bad, evolving from an obnoxious miscreant into the complex emotional centre of the show.

He would sort of like it if you stopped calling him a bitch now, though.

Simple, effective and not exactly sophisticated, Pinkman's gratuitous delivery of the word bitch became his calling card across the show's five seasons, a catchphrase that continues to haunt him in his day-to-day life, 10 years after the pilot first aired.

Sat on the Jimmy Kimmel sofa to promote his latest show Paths, the 38-year-old claims that he has the word shouted at him "Every. Single. Day." He added, "I've probably been called bitch more than anyone else on the planet... think about it!"

With Paul and his wife expecting a daughter later in the year, Jimmy Kimmel had some advice for the general public if they see him out and about with his family.

"If you see Aaron on the street, stop calling him bitch."

Truly words to live by, Jim...
