• Aaron Paul's apparently not had the call to say that anything's actually happening yet
  • He is bang up for playing Jesse again though
  • "If there is one and it comes together I'd love to be a part of it"

Despite showrunner Vince Gilligan being pretty certain that a Breaking Bad film is in the offing, it seems that Aaron Paul is apparently out of the loop as to whether he should dust off his hazmat suit to reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman. He does want you to know that he's absolutely up for it if it ever does happen, though.

Asked about rumours of a Breaking Bad film at a Variety event, Paul said: "Rumours are funny - I once heard a rumour that I was being cast as Han Solo. I haven’t heard anything about the Breaking Bad movie but if there is one and it comes together I’d love to be a part of it."

Just to double down on that massive but still extremely conditional thumbs up, Paul went on: "If it were to happen, yes, I would love to do it."

He added: "In case you haven’t caught up on the TV series, Walter dies, so… it has to star Jesse." This feels a bit like when a footballer reckons Arsenal are interested in him so starts commenting on Ainsley Maitland-Niles' Instagram religiously to try and prepare the ground for his move, a campaign which inevitably gets subheaded as a 'come-and-get-me plea' in the press.
