By Pro-leave Conservative MPs and professional political hanger-on Nigel Farage have spent the morning chucking fish into the Thames to protest the fisheries agreement of the Brexit transition deal.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Britain had consented to remaining in the Common Fisheries Policy until 31 December 2020, a fact that is apparently unacceptable to Farage, the diehard merman who attended one out of 42 meetings while a member of the European Parliament Fisheries Committee.
Today the merry crew took to the Thames in a sequel stunt to the 2016 pre-referendum 'Battle of the Thames' for what should probably be called 'Battle of the Thames: 2 Brexit 2 Furious'.
Farage - whose 14th Century beliefs clearly dictate matters should be settled at sea - set sail underneath Tower Bridge towards Parliament, armed with fishermen, 'Fishing for Leave' banners, crates of dead haddock and, most crucially, a pack of journalists.
"They told us they were going to take back control in 2019. That is not happening," Farage cried. "We are now told that at the beginning of 2021 it may happen. I don't think this Government has got the guts or strength to stand up and take back our territorial waters."
Conservative MPs were instructed by the whips office not to stoop to the level of flinging fish into the Thames. Of course Farage, who has seven times failed to be elected as MP, was free to fling haddock to his heart's content. And fling he did.
It was all going swimmingly until Embankment Pier refused to let the boats dock and they were forced to enter a never ending holding pattern of going round and round in circles.
Jacob Rees-Mogg was meant to board the boat at this pier but when he saw things were more complicated than initially thought, buggered off instead.
A fine Brexit metaphor if we've ever heard one.
They were then pursued by police down the Thames.
All in all a great advertisement for the Carry On film the country would become should Farage ever get in power.
