Better Call Saul may be coming to an end soon, but Bob Odenkirk already seems to have his next franchise lined up.

Last year saw the release of the action film Nobody, which starred the actor as a family man who returns to his life of beating people up in extremely violent ways. It was well-received and did pretty well commercially, and Odenkirk really wants to do another one.

"Let's make Nobody 2, and I'm going to kick more ass than I ever have," he told Empire magazine.

"We are working on making that happen. Universal has been very upbeat and welcoming. Derek [Kolstad, screenwriter] and I have talked story. It's not a sure thing yet, but we're working on it. I think the signs point to yes."

Unfortunately, last year also saw the actor suffer a heart attack, collapsing on set in front of his Saul co-stars.

"I was very, very lucky in that I had a heart attack near my co-stars. I didn't go to my trailer, and also we weren't on location," he said. "If we'd been on location, I probably wouldn't be here talking to you. If I'd gone to my trailer, I wouldn't be here talking to you right now.

"In the morning, they did the surgery at Presbyterian Hospital here. They have wonderful heart surgeons here, the best in the world, and they did a f**king amazing job. They blew out the plaque and put in stents and I'm doing great."
