Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk has dropped a fairly massive secret about the upcoming spin-off movie.

Series creator Vince Gilligan was rumoured to begin shooting a film continuation of the Emmy Award-winning show at some point this summer, with Aaron Paul reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman.

Yet little to nothing has come out about the filming... until now. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about his Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, Odenkirk teased the project.

"I've heard so many different things about it, but I am excited about the Breaking Bad movie. I can't wait to see it," he said.

Now, there's no indication yet that Saul Goodman appears in the Breaking Bad movie – but Odenkirk does seem to have inside information because he confirmed Gilligan has already finished shooting it!

"I don't know what people know and don't know," he admitted. "I find it hard to believe you don't know it was shot.

"They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They've done an amazing job of keeping it a secret."

That's right, Vince Gilligan has somehow managed to shoot the entire Breaking Bad movie without any spoilers about its plot leaking!

We don't even know yet if Bryan Cranston will be in it, although he did recently hint that there's a way for Walter White to return from his gruesome fate in the series finale.

Sadly, RJ Mitte – who played Walt Jr aka Flynn on the AMC series – recently revealed that he would not be back for the untitled movie.
