At CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week, Chadwick Boseman gave a lecture with the fairly daunting title: 'The State of the Industry: Past, Present and Future.' But it wasn't just the state of movie industry the actor was handing out lessons on. There plenty to learn from the 41-year-old's wardrobe, too.
Boseman pulled off the high-wire trick of wearing a full look in a matching pattern; a utilitarian-tinged bomber jacket with a more formal shirt and trousers that shared its geometric design.
The key to wearing all over pattern is to keep the colours muted - in Boseman's case, fail-safe black from British-Singaporean designer Dzjochen - and the silhouette simple. Anything too bright or oversized and you're straying into novelty territory.
After months of red carpet showmanship (a draped, glittering number from Givenchy, for example, and a Louis Vuitton high fashion harness), the Black Panther star continues to make bold strides at more low-key events, too.
Inspiration, then, for your new PowerPoint presentation. Just couple it with rotating hand movements and a look that says: "I'm sure you've got some great questions but please just keep them to yourself".
