Clutch Brad Pitt to your bosom. Hold him tight. Give him a big pat on the shoulder with one hand, just to keep the hug going a bit longer. Why the lingering cuddle? Because despite being in two big films this year, Pitt says that he's ready to start winding down his acting career.

"It'll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now," Pitt told the New York Times. "When you feel like you've finally got your arms around something, then it’s time to go get your arms around something else."

Apparently that could well include sculpting and landscaping, which are apparently big for Pitt these days. He did like to kick back with Leo DiCaprio and a pile of clay to be moulded while the pair were making Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood, and it may very well be that the only time we're likely to see them collaborate again will be on a line of pasta bowls for Habitat.

The profile also revealed that when Moonlight, which Pitt was an executive producer on, won the Oscar for Best Picture after that enormous palaver where La La Land was mistakenly announced as the winner, Pitt was having his tea with Ad Astra director James Gray and seemed completely unfussed by the whole thing as he chomped on spaghetti.

"He said, 'Oh wow, that's cool'," Gray said. "He wasn't unappreciative, obviously, but Brad won’t get caught up in pomp and circumstance. I think he knows to stay centred."
