Childish Gambino, who had perhaps the year’s most talked-about music video with May’s This is America, released a new clip Saturday. The animated video for Feels Like Summer imagines summertime in a neighbourhood populated almost entirely by hip-hop stars—with a few actors, politicians, and other celebrities thrown in for good measure.
Most notably, the video includes a brief scene in which a teary-eyed and MAGA hat-wearing Kanye West is comforted by Michelle Obama. While most of the other stars in the video are engaging in lighthearted activities like tug of war or skateboarding, like West, Chris Brown is also shown weeping.
