Donald Glover's had a pretty damn good run for the last year or so: Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes, Star Wars, etc. The only thing missing? How about a collaboration with Rihanna? That might be the next thing for Glover, as a photo of him with RiRi has begun circulating on Twitter, bringing tons of fan speculation with it.
The photo is captioned "on set in Cuba," and according to reports, they're "working on a musical movie together."
A "musical movie" could very well be a music video, which wouldn't be surprising, as Rihanna has teased new music coming out this year, and Glover has released a surprise handful of songs this summer.
According to other reports, they're working with director Hiro Murai (from Glover's Atlanta and "This Is America" video). The Cuban publication Vistar reports that Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie are also involved, and the film’s working title is Guava Island.
Whatever this thing is, it's going to be great.
