Last week, Fortnite players graced players with the return of the Mad Titan Thanos and a Black Widow skin as Avengers: Endgame hit cinemas. Today, Fortnite continued the Endgame goodies with an awesome ode to Guardians of the Galaxy: a Star-Lord skin, along with the Guardians' ship as a glider, a pickaxe with the classic blue-and-orange metallic look, and a Groot keychain.
The Star-Lord skin is a slick Fortnite-esque render of the space pirate himself wearing a vest in the traditional red leather, along with the Star-Lord mask and a mohawk. With the new pack, players will also get the “Dance Off” emote, which recreates the showdown with Ronan from the first film.
Rumoured leaks have been circulating about a few more Marvel-themed skins to come, including Hawkeye and Captain America, but nothing that way has been confirmed. This Marvel collaboration opens Fortnite up to a whole new world of potential. While we’ve seen a Marshmello skin and NFL skins, these Marvel skins are the first fictional crossovers we've seen in game. Fortnite and Marvel have been surprisingly cozy since the first collab, and hopefully we’ll see more in the future.
