By While the buzz around the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett/Lockhart has died down a bit lately, we've got a big new announcement from Google's streaming games service Stadia.
The launch titles for the new service have been unveiled in full, and there are some big names among the 39 initial titles. The headliners include Final Fantasy XV, the Ancient Greece-set Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Football Manager 2020 and Mortal Kombat 11.
The Elder Scrolls Online and the co-op boosted Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be there too, as will Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Cyberpunk 2077. The sequel-slash-reboot of frisbee-chucking Neo Geo classic Windjammers will be there too, as will dystopian near-future Britain thriller Watch Dogs: Legion when it launches in March.
Even more excitingly, Farming Simulator 19 from Giants Software is confirmed too, with the most recent iteration of the franchise including the opportunity to ride horses across your fields for the first time.
The Founder's Edition of Stadia, which includes a controller, a Chromecast and three months on the service, will be available this November for $129 (£107), with the free Base version coming at some point early next year. To get the Pro service you'll have to subscribe for $10 (£8.28) a month.
So will a Netflix approach to gaming actually work? The outlay needed for an extra three months of play time does seem a bit steep, and you'll have to really slam your way through games to make the most of the library on there, but it sounds like there'll be a lot for hardcore types.
