Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein is shown allegedly being slapped by another man in a video that has emerged online.
Footage obtained by TMZ appears to show Weinstein being confronted and then struck in the face while leaving Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant Elements on Tuesday evening. Watch the clip below:
This physical confrontation was apparently the second run-in that night between a local man identifying himself only as Steve and the producer.
Weinstein has been seeking treatment for undisclosed issues in Arizona since a series of sexual misconduct allegations were made against him late last year.
While a spokesperson for Elements maintained to TMZ that Weinstein was not actually struck in the scuffle, the video footage seems to show otherwise.
Weinstein reportedly declined to call local police over the slap, choosing instead to leave the restaurant without further incident. His representatives have not yet commented.
As previously mentioned, Weinstein has rarely been seen in public since Paz de la Huerta, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, Cara Delevingne, Lupita Nyong'o and a number of other women accused him of making unwanted sexual advances.
He is also being investigated by authorities in both the US and the UK over historic sexual misconduct accusations dating back to the 1980s. In the wake of this scandal, the producer has been dropped from his own Weinstein Company.
Through his attorneys, Weinstein continues to maintain that he never committed "sexual assault".
