Filming has officially wrapped on the 25th instalment of the James Bond franchise, No Time To Die.

The official 007 Twitter account shared an image of star Daniel Craig posing with director Cary Fukunaga on set, complete with the caption: "That's a wrap on #NoTimeToDie. See you in cinemas April 2020."

In the photo, Craig can be seen wearing a hefty winter coat over the top of his iconic Bond dinner suit while holding onto a clapperboard marked with the date October 25, the film's final day of production.

No Time To Die will be Craig's fifth and final appearance as Bond, as the actor confirmed in 2017 that he'll be stepping away from the role.

The announcement of the film wrapping comes almost a month after production came to a close in Italy, where Craig was filmed giving an emotional farewell speech at a wrap party.

Production on No Time To Die ended up taking longer than expected after Craig injured his ankle in May while shooting in Jamaica, leaving him in need of corrective surgery. He returned to set a month later, ready to report for duty once again.

The 25th James Bond film will be released in the UK on April 3, 2020 and in the US on April 8, 2020.
