According to a very cursory Google search, there are 7.53 billion people in the world, as of 2017. That's a lot of people. And yet, as Lady Gaga explained during her exhaustive Oscars campaign last year, all you need is one. That's the hope that Lenny Kravitz is holding onto after losing a very special pair of sunglasses at a show. The rocker played a gig at the Shrine in Los Angeles this past weekend, and a sentimental pair of sunglasses seem to be a casualty. Actually, let's not say "casualty" yet, because most missing-person cases remain hopeful in the first 72 hours.

This is a case of Gone Girl. Nay, Gone Glasses.

After the glasses went missing, Kravitz decided the best hope for return was to hit social media. The vintage shades once belonged to a family member, so he put out a plea for their return, with a dedicated email included. The tweet—including the perfect email address kravitzglasses@gmail.com—is currently nearing seven thousand retweets. While the brand and type haven't been reported out, he seems to wear these sunglasses a lot, so this isn't just another pair of glasses lost in the back of an Uber.

There are currently no new updates on the tweet, posted Sunday. But for God's sake, if you find Lenny Kravitz' sunglasses, don't be a dick and sell them online or something. Keep those spectacles off the black market and get them home where they belong.
