Starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, Maniac is the story of two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone awry.

Though it looks like science fiction, the series is described as a 'dark psychological drama' and the first images look straight out of an episode of Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror. Initial images show Stone and Hill's characters using "the technological device used to bring patients into their dream world."
