Quentin Tarantino has added a raft of new names - well, mostly quite old names - to the cast for his next film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

The news that Michael Madsen (five previous Tarantino films), Tim Roth (three) and Kurt Russell (two) will pop up is about as surprising as hearing it's likely to contain stylised violence and some ripe language.

However, the fact that Burt Reynolds will be making his first Tarantino appearance is a bit more unexpected.

From what we know, the film will touch on the Manson Family murders as well as following an actor and his stunt double played by Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. Reynolds will play George Spahn, a rancher whose house was used as a base by the Manson Family.

While it all sounds a bit like a big lads' reunion for Tarantino and pals, Margot Robbie has also been confirmed to play Sharon Tate, who was murdered by the Family.

"As long as I can remember, I’ve been a huge Tarantino fan," Robbie told Indiewire, describing him as "one of my bucket-list directors."

She's hoping to pick up tips from shadowing him on set too.

"Beyond anything, I’ve just always wanted to see him work," Robbie said. "And I want to see how he runs a set, and how he directs people, and what the vibe is onset, and what’s in the script, and then what happens on the day. I’m just fascinated by all of it, fascinated."

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will be released in August 2019.
