We are proud to announce that Academy Award-winning Moonlight star Mahershala Ali will be attending the Esquire Townhouse with Breitling on Saturday 13 October from 4pm-5pm - and you can still get tickets to see him.

Ali has cemented himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors over the past few years, and at Esquire Townhouse the 44-year-old will talk us through the ups and downs of his remarkable life. He'll touch on his upcoming projects including new film Green Book (out 1 February 2019), his starring role in the third season of True Detective as well as his celebrated work in hallmark series like House of Cards and Luke Cage.

As the first Muslim to ever to win an Oscar for acting, Ali has paved an extraordinary path in his career – and he's set to have another year to remember. The Moonlight star – who cut his teeth in films such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Hunger Games – will delve into it all in an unrestricted interview with film critic Kevin Maher.

Ali is next set to grace our screens alongside Viggo Mortensen in Peter Farrelly’s Green Book. The film was awarded the People’s Choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival last month, and Ali will be opening up to Townhouse attendees about how his unlikely collaboration with the Dumb and Dumber director came about.

Townhouse guests will also be given additional access to exclusive clips and trailers for Ali’s latest project. Considering that Green Book isn’t set for release in the UK until 8 February, this is the ideal opportunity to get yourself ahead of the curve of next year’s Oscars frontrunners before the award season kicks into full-swing. Offering valuable insight on his craft to all attendees, Ali might even be gracious enough to reveal how you, too, can absolutely nail the trawlerman aesthetic.

After Vince Vaughn's entertaining appearance at last year's Townhouse, we thought it best to keep our True Detective streak going in the best way possible. Be there.
