The big bad boys in white; the Galacticos; the Huns of continental football, ploughing and pillaging all in their wake (except for the fact that they've been crap in the league this year), Real Madrid are supposedly ready to demonstrate their clout with a bid for Liverpool's prolific talisman and trickiest of tricky wingers, Mohammed Salah.

Having already lost Philipe Coutinho to Barcelona this week, there could be more bad news for the Reds as Real look set to challenge their arch rival's big new arrival with an equally marquee-level signing.

Who just so happens to also play for Liverpool.

Klopp’s presumed reaction

According to reports in Italy, Real, who are already 16 points behind Barcelona in La Liga, are lining up the Galactico-grade bid in an attempt to regain some traction.

Salah has already scored 17 goals in the league this year, while no one - not even Ronaldo - has scored more than four for Real Madrid, a stat that only serves to highlight the defending Spanish champions' woes in front of goal this year.

Liverpool: Lock up your Salahs, lock up your Firminos and definitely, definitely lock up your Lovrens...

Just so he can't play.

Because he's rubbish.
