Star Wars: Episode IX is coming this December and fans are eagerly awaiting the first trailer and the reveal of the film's title.

Well the wait could soon be over, as we may have just been given a big hint as to when both will be revealed.

The massive Star Wars Celebration fan experience will take place this year in Chicago from 11 April until 15 April, and they've just announced it will feature an Episode IX panel.

The panel, which will take place on April 12, will include both director JJ Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy, with “plenty of surprises and special guests” being teased on the official website.

It's likely that those surprises will include the film's title and/or trailer, as at Star Wars Celebration in 2017 the Episode IX trailer debuted during the Last Jedi panel.

Episode IX will be the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, and earlier this month Poe Dameron actor Oscar Isaac teased that the film is going to have audiences "blown away".

"It was the most fun it's been," he said. "There was just an energy and a looseness and excitement to the whole production.

"And knowing that this was the conclusion of not only our time there but the nine stories, these nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga, it's incredible."

He added: "I think people are gonna be just blown away."

Star Wars: Episode IX will be released in the UK on 19 December, 2019 and in the US on 20 December, 2019.
