Though we're not quite sure what Hardy's character as anti-hero Venom will look like, recently leaked footage of Hardy brawling against his characters alter-ego looks like it's going to be quite a ride.
Now it looks like Hardy has wrapped filming as Eddie Brock/Venom according to a new post on the actor's Instagram account which is captioned "Wrapped life back Bye 👋"
Doesn't take a code breaking specialist to work out what Hardy is saying here especially considering the post was one of many he uploaded with various crew members working on Venom including cinematographer Matthew Libatique.
"Wrapped SAN Fran Jam DuN," he wrote under another, "Sound Team Venom MVP crew shout out to all the crew on Antidote legends all. Outstanding work team. Thank you all. Am humbled and absolute Honour and a privilege."
Nice to see Tom really getting into his Instagram too.
As well as the seeming confirmation that Hardy has finished filming, MovieWeb reports that, "These seemingly final photos from the set come just days after there were rumours surfacing that Tom Holland will in fact have a cameo as Peter Parker, although he will not be seen as Spider-Man at all in the movie."
Sadly there's no released date as of yet but Holland would join an impressive cast which currently includes Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson and Riz Ahmed.
