Dev Patel has been dressing exceptionally well for some time now: think air ties, Ermenegildo Zegna suits, rollnecks and worker jackets. So far, he's topped all this off by keeping his impressive mane long and fairly untamed.
Or at least, until now. At an IWC event for SIHH 2019, the 28-year-old showcased a new grooming moving - the slick-back. It's a classic style, perfect for a moneyed Swiss watch evening or perhaps an underground demo of a self-driving Aston Martin.
Which leads us to beg the question: just where is Patel's place the perennial Bond-In-Waiting rumour list?
Think about it. He's famous, but not too famous. He's handsome, and British. He fills out a tux with ease. And now, he's even got a hairstyle we could see dodging bullets before being entangled in the fingertips of a is-she-good-or-is-she-bad femme fatale.
