Age is but a number: an adage well-applied to your wardrobe, and one embraced whole-heartedly by Ethan Hawke. We refer you to his latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
At 47-years-young, the Blaze star opted for a bright yellow western-inspired suit by Ovadia & Sons. Which, on the likes of Timothée Chalamet or that annoyingly handsome guy who slopes on your significant other at a bar, wouldn't seem that out of place. But on Hawke, it's a refreshing take.
That's because other actors of his standing (and age) go classic. No bad thing, of course. However, classic can often read cookie-cutter, and if you're tired of looking like every other guy over 40, there's nothing to say you can't take a risk.
You might get a smirk, sure. You might even get a ribbing from a friend. Sharp-tongued, hormone-ridden spawn will be more brutal in their assessment. Though if you look half as good as Hawke does - and proceed with the same level of confidence - you're less dad, more don't-give-a-flying-Frank-Butcher-what-those-plebs-think Don Corleone.
