After a fashion week that sat within a 'phygital' setting – which roughly translates to a show season that's part in-person, part viewed from afar – Dior still managed to catapult the menswear crowd to lands anew from afar, via one very dreamy, very well-dressed video.

We went to Ghana, and the gates of heaven, and were formally introduced to artist Amoako Boafo who graced the designs of creative director Kim Jones with his own work. It was a lot of travelling despite the flight restrictions. But it seems in the non-fashion world beyond Dior's world tour, social distancing remains. Good luck with that flight to Miami.

But, following the collection's release, that didn't stop Amoako from catching-up with actor, DJ and Wayfarer emperor Idris Elba over Zoom (social distance!), with the video released exclusively to Esquire.

As a longtime fan of Dior, Elba congratulates Boafo on his work with the brand, and the two discuss inspiration, getting into character, the cross-pollination of design and acting, and how important it is to connect with the world. Watch now below.
