News of a collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Tyler, the Creator has dropped, but it won’t be hitting streaming platforms anytime soon. That’s because this duo have swapped microphones for sketching pencils, working together on a men's capsule collection for Louis Vuitton. If your Instagram feed is anything to go by, it's gone down well.
“Tyler has been my close friend and collaborator for years and we’ve always connected on music and design,” says Pharrell in the collection’s press release. “This collaboration is unique to Louis Vuitton because it’s a natural extension of our LVERS philosophy, building on our network of incredible artists and creatives. There are so many elements specific to Tyler built into these pieces and it’s been inspiring to see him hone in on his craft and collaborate with him for this Spring collection.”
Merging Tyler’s preppy eccentricity with Pharrell’s design codes for LV, the aptly named Spring 2024 Men's capsule collection by Tyler, the Creator includes classic silhouettes with a playful flair – think: monogrammed blazer and shorts, pet carriers and grannie-approved headscarves. Have Tyler, The Creator and Pharrell Worked Together Before?
Musically, yes – as Pharrell mentioned, they’ve been working together for years. Most recently, Tyler contributed a verse to Pharrell’s 2022 single ‘Cash In Cash Out’, and he also composed the soundtrack to the LV autumn/winter ’22 men's show.
Within the fashion-sphere, this marks the first collaboration.
What Has Tyler, The Creator Brought to the House?
Fans of Tyler will be well acquainted with his two labels, Golf Wang and Golf Le Fleur, which continue the colourful and kitsch style the musician is known for. He hasn’t deviated far from his usual design codes with this collab – if it ain't broke, don’t fix it.
The artist created his own take on the LV insignia by sketching the Craggy Monogram, a print that features representations of daisies and Airedale Terriers hidden within LV flowers, and has plastered it across a chocolate down jacket and matching denim set. The fashion house’s Damier print is reflected onto a golf-inspired windbreaker, anorak and zip cardigan, as well as some of its iconic bags. A travel chessboard – because, why not? – features melting chocolate chess pieces hand sketched by Tyler.

Five new bag shapes join the collection – the Envelope Messenger, Envelope WW and Envelope Pouch, the Rush Bumbag and a dog-shaped strap bag – printed with the CM motif, they're bound to be hypebeast collectables in the making.
But for those who are looking to add to their current wardrobe, the patchwork printed trench coat is a unique staple that'll garner compliments season after season.
