The US coasts approach style very differently. On the left, we've got downward dogging, crystal healing, 'just chill' man-aphernalia. To the right, high-powered corporate tailoring that could lose its shit at any given second. For the Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood London premiere Leonardo went for the latter, with a look straight from Jordan Belfort's fraudulently-acquired UES apartment.

Like the tactics of the aforementioned rogue trader, the profit lies in the small print. While the 44-year-old avoided the big hitters from the times of unbridled excess and hair (royal blue fabric, for instance, or pinstripes), the monotone Giorgio Armani three-piece is still of its time. There's a striped collegiate tie, for instance. Lest we forget the power dressing powers of peak lapels, too.

That includes the sunglasses also. Opting for Oliver Peoples, a brand that earned its own airtime in American Psycho (most of Patrick Bateman's P&P are said to harbour a love for 'Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses'), the rounded lens has enjoyed something of a resurgence since its '87 inception.

Of course, that's not to say DiCaprio is Belfort and vice versa. Instead, it's a wider point that all things eighties are back en vogue: the boxy tailoring at Louis Vuitton, the big shoulders of Byredo, that sort of thing. And, whether accidentally or otherwise, the Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood star is back on Wall Street.
