At this year's Toronto International Film Festival, Ali set sail with a look inspired by the trawlermen you'd see in a grainy BBC documentary about 'the good old days' when everyone was skint and illiterate. And he nailed it.
Up-top, the upcoming Alita: Battle Angel star popped the collar of a teal trench, and went full fisherman-in-1930s-Hull with a beanie. Which sounds all sorts of fancy dress.
