Omega and George Clooney are friends. Good friends, actually, with the actor regularly playing ambassador for the storied watch marque at various intragalactic events. The partnership is growing too, as Omega enlists Clooney's part-owned tequila and mezcal brand, Casamigos, for its latest collaborative release.
Dubbed the Seamaster Planet Ocean “Deep Black” Casamigos, this GMT-dive watch hybrid is a matte ceramic construction - something of an enduring trend in Switzerland. What's more, the dial itself is of the same material, adding an unusual texture that nods to the Casamigos mezcal bottle.
It's not just a pretty face, though. Inside, the limited edition (there's a mere 80 models worldwide on offer) boasts the same nuts-and-cogs as Omega's landmark Seamaster, with a well-respected, precise 2500 movement. Factor in the teal accents too - another touch to mimic Casamigos' design - and you've got a fine partnership.
